Lee Mark Chang, President, Belize Chinese Assn.
“As far as I could remember, the Chinese community has been working with the Police Department. Since 2003 I have taken over, so I have been working hand in hand with the Police Department.”
Jacqueline Woods
“Why at this time have you all decided to help out by donating a computer to the department?”
Lee Mark Chang
“In today’s world computer is the thing right now, and without a computer to work faster, effectively, you can’t work good.”
G. Michael Reid, Police Press Officer
“We appreciate the efforts of any member of the community who will come forth and assist the police. Certainly, the Chinese community has been very good to us, they have donated many things, not only computers, but certainly we appreciate this gesture. I am sure the O.C.E.D. (Officer Commanding Easter Division) will be very grateful herself and will put it to good use.”
The computer is valued at over four thousand dollars.
