Foul play not suspected in pool death
Early this morning, a watchman working for the Bellevue Hotel came across the body of a dead man floating in the hotel’s pool. The deceased, identified as thirty-year-old Clive Richards Rivers, was not a guest at the hotel, but an electrician who frequently visited the establishment to socialize. The last time Rivers was seen alive was on Sunday night at the pool bar drinking with some friends. Sources tell News 5 that normally after the bar closes everyone is asked to leave the area, and it is not clear why Rivers remained. Authorities say when they visited the scene they observed no bruises or wounds on the body to suggest that Rivers was killed before he entered the water. A post-mortem is scheduled for eight on Tuesday morning.
