Small Fire at Dorothy Menzies Child Care Center
There was a small fire in the city this afternoon. Sometime after four this evening, a fire started in a lower flat of a building at the Dorothy Menzies Child Care Center. Quick response from the fire service contained the blaze and no one was hurt. We understand one or two pieces of furniture damaged, as well as the walls of the ground room where the fire started. The Center said that they were not able to give an official report on the matter because it was being investigated by the officials.
