Child molester gets 15 years

And in news from the judicial side of law enforcement, a Toledo man has been convicted for the crime of carnal knowledge of a child. Valentin Bolon of San Antonio Village was on Monday found guilty in the Supreme Court sitting in Dangriga and sentenced by Justice Troadio Gonzales to fifteen years in prison. His victim in the October 2002 crime was a nine-year-old girl. Bolon was also convicted of aggravated assault for a separate incident in which he made an indecent assault upon a woman. His one-year sentence will run concurrently with the longer term. The case was prosecuted for the state by D.P.P. Kirk Anderson.
