Morning raid scours prison cells
A coordinated effort by police, prison officers and B.D.F. soldiers, has turned up an ingenious assortment of jailhouse weapons. The raid on Hattieville prison at five this morning came as a surprise to inmates, who looked on as each cell was searched from top to bottom. The action comes in the wake of an increased number of armed assaults at the correctional facility and will likely be repeated frequently. Punishment for the weapons possession ranges from deduction of good behaviour time to criminal charges for firearms violations… that is if it can be proven which cellmate actually owned the weapons.
