BPMS Driver & Companion Held for Weed
Earlier today, two men were busted at a police checkpoint at the Establo Roundabout at the northern entrance of Orange Walk Town. Thirty-one-year-old Jose Garcia was the driver of a Belize Package and Mail Service van bearing Belize City license plates which when searched was found to be carrying a total of eleven kilos of cannabis in two parcels. The compressed drugs were tightly wrapped in blue and black bags and stored in a cartoon box. Garcia and his handyman, Brian Hernandez of Halls Layout, Corozal, were both detained.
