City Man Questioned in Murder of Julian Tun

San Pedro police are tonight questioning a Belize City man in connection with the shooting death of sixteen year old Julian Tun. We understand that he was picked up in Belize City when he appeared before the court for another matter earlier today. Tun was killed on Sea Grape Drive in San Pedro on Saturday night around eleven. Tun was killed on the same day he had arrived on the island. Some five shots were heard in the area and a man was seen fleeing the scene. The motive of Tun’s killing is not known. Tun is no stranger to the law – he was the gunman in the 2016 shooting that happened in front of the Queen Street Police Station and left four people injured including a cop.
