Family left battered, bruised and in fear
The entire ordeal was witnessed by Yearwood’s son who happened to also be in the area purchasing food at a nearby restaurant. Not only has the incident left him badly shaken, it has also left his father in a neck brace. This morning, Keith Yearwood visited a doctor who certified his injuries as harm. Of the eight or ten officers who brutally attacked him, Yearwood is only able to positively identify one person.

Keith Yearwood, Alleges Police Brutality
“They didn’t search me or the car. They were just hitting me and hitting me and trying to wrestle me to the ground. There was a good amount of people out there witnessing what was going on, just in case I need any reference to substantiate my claim.”

“Now you’ve visited a doctor and you have with you and medico-legal form. What are the extent of your injuries?”
Keith Yearwood
“Well, the doctor listed it as harm, but I still have pain in my neck and my lower back, you know. That’s where the beating really took place, in my back, you know, it’s like they took turns beating me last night. I could only recognize one out of all of them and it was Matthew, Matthew Young. You remember the GSU that was on Facebook with the picture circulating. He was the only one that I recognized.”
Keith Yearwood has filed an official report with the Internal Affairs Department at the Raccoon Street Police Headquarters.
