Bert Vasquez Claims Innocence, but Will Be Sentenced Next Week on Abduction Charge
Also in court was Bert Vasquez, who was convicted by a jury on July tenth of forcible abduction, sexual assault, and harm against a sixteen-year-old minor, which occurred back in May of 2011. He was due to be sentenced by Justice Adolph Lucas, but issues with the victim impact statement and other matters forced the court to adjourn the case to next Friday, July twenty-eighth. Vasquez is being defended by Oscar Selgado and faces up to fifteen years in prison. He also faces a slew of other charges including murder for the June, 2012 death of schoolgirl Jasmine Lowe in Santa Elena Town. Though Vasquez was headed back to prison, he continued to protest his innocence before media cameras.
Bert Vasquez, Convicted of Forcible Abduction
“I am innocent and I will fight this thing to the very end. Those who judge me, let them read Matthew about judging other people, because only God can judge me alone. I am innocent.”

“Will you appeal?”
Bert Vasquez
“Everything will be appealed if I get found guilty. Even to the C.C.J., because I am innocent.”
Hence, no one has done any evil, not even a murder has ever been done. Since every time every murderer is innocent.
