“Nothing, we noh get a full run down on how my brother got killed, why he get killed, you know, none of that. They say an investigation di goh on, weh noh complete yet that we have to follow up and find out exactly what happened.”

According to a police press release, Belisle, who was incarcerated for aggravated burglary, was on recreation time at the welding section when he allegedly attacked a fellow inmate, Philip Tillett. Tillett in return stabbed Belisle in his right upper chest with a knife. Theodore Gentle says he observed two stab wounds on his brother’s body, but is awaiting the results of a post mortem examination. The Belisle Family says they are equally upset because prison authorities did not informed them about the incident until some two and a half hours later. By that time Belisle had died while undergoing an operation at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.
