Gunshots miss targets, shooters detained

In crime news, two intended gunshot victims in Belize City are tonight counting their lucky stars. In the first incident Shyiana Allen and Tom Jones have been detained after it is alleged that on Tuesday night at the request of Allen, Jones confronted her ex-boyfriend, Carl Lamb, with a handgun. After pointing it at Lamb, Jones apparently fired at the ground and no one was injured.

Later that night, a sawed off shotgun was the weapon of choice as Elbert Anderson claims that he was woken up by the sound of someone calling his name, only to be greeted by the sight of a gun barrel pointed through the louvers of his window. The weapon fired a single blast, which fortunately went wide of its mark. Anderson has identified the gunman as Jermaine Pascascio, who has been detained pending charges.
