The Y to Put on Summer Exhibit

Over two hundred children are participating in the YWCA’s annual summer program. It started in July and will wrap up next week. The YWCA says that the children will be putting on a day exhibition to show the public what they did over the summer.

“The Summer Program has started since July and we are winding down now, so next Thursday we are having our final closing ceremony for the reading, pre-school and swimming programs. So, at the end of the day, you guys are invited to come out and we do a little display of what the children have learnt and so, if you feel the need to see what the Y does, then you are welcome to come in. We just like to thank everybody who participated and anybody who rendered assistance, the volunteers and the teachers.”
