Michael Aspinall Shot on Sarstoon Street

Hours prior to the murder of Ruben Esquivel, shots rang out several blocks away on Sarstoon Street in the Old Capital. Just after midnight on Tuesday, thirty-four-year-old Michael Aspinal, a resident of Kraal Road was shot to the leg and arm. There are few details that police can confirm. Superintendent Daniel Arzu explains.

“Police are investigating at this point in time and we are hoping to gather additional information in relation to that incident as it is because the person refuse to speak to us at this point in time. So, we have to probe in to this matter and see what we can get in this latest incident.”

“Now, we are not in a position to say if he was the intended target. What we do know is that he was riding his bicycle and he indicated that somebody came from behind – fired shots from behind a house catching him on his hands and feet.”
