Motorcyclist injured in traffic mishap

Story Picture
Tonight, a Belize City man is in the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital suffering from head and body injuries sustained in a traffic accident around five this evening. According to twenty-year-old Steve Mahler, the driver of this Chevy pick-up truck, he was making a right hand turn from Princess Margaret Drive into St. Thomas Street when a motorcycle crashed into him from behind. The cyclist, twenty-year-old Julian Bradley, who wasn’t wearing a helmet, was flung from the bike. An ambulance rushed to the scene and the victim was taken to the K.H.M.H.. Witnesses tell News 5 that after the impact Bradley did make attempts to get up and was speaking. Coincidentally, Mahler and Bradley are friends.
