Construction worker falls to death
The hazards of construction work proved fatal for one Belize City man today. Information remains sketchy, but sometime around eleven o’clock this morning, twenty-seven year old Moises Gonzalez was working on the first floor of a building on Saint Thomas Street when he apparently fell to his death. The cause of the fall is not known, but it is believed that on impact he sustained injuries to his head and possibly a broken neck. Gonzalez was dead on arrival at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. The police are treating Gonzalez’s death as an accident.
