Peter Sutherland is Old Capital’s latest shooting victim

As if police did not have enough on their plate to deal with this week, another shooting was reported near downtown Belize City. The officer in charge of the Crimes Investigation Branch for Belize City, Superintendent Alejandro Cowo, shares details.

“There was a shooting this morning at about five-thirty on Cemetery Road, in front of the homeless center. A male person by the name of Peter Sutherland had received a gunshot wound to the right shoulder. He was riding his bicycle en route from Cemetery Road toward Albert Street, when a male person came out and fired several shots in his direction.”

“And this has nothing to do with any of the other incidents?”
