Cops bust O.W. burglars

A suspected gang of burglars in Orange Walk has been busted. The five youths arrested over the weekend are Luis Sosa, Marcelino Martinez and Greg August, all seventeen, along with eighteen year old Abram Perez and twenty-six year old Mark Cadle. All inhabit a Keyhole Alley residence in Orange Walk Town. Their arrest followed a Thursday night break in, in which over twenty thousand dollars worth of TV’s, Play Station CD’s and other electronic merchandise was stolen from the business of Edmundo Canul. The five have been charged with burglary, while Perez and Sosa were additionally charged for handling stolen goods and damage to property. More charges are expected, as police believe the gang is responsible for several other heists over the last month.
