Ministry of Education releases P.S.E. results

The Ministry of Education has released the 2009 P.S.E. results and they look dismal. A total of six thousand eight hundred and fifty eight students registered for the exam and six thousand six hundred and sixty-one sat the exam. A quick review of the results shows that the grades are not very impressive. In English, Science and Social Studies the average is satisfactory at sixty percent. And in Math the mean score is an E with students scoring only scored forty six percent. Top scorer was Demi Bellini of Guadalupe RC School, followed by Suraye Solis of St. Ignatius School in Belize City and Brigette Ruby of the Louisiana Government School in Orange Walk.
