Robbery suspect arrested and charged
A suspect in the robbery of a downtown Belize City store has been arrested and charged. Twenty-five year old Winston Jones of East Canal was apprehended shortly after the armed robbery of Gaylord’s on King Street Wednesday night. In that incident a security guard was beaten and a bystander wounded by a gunshot. Jones has been charged with robbery, conspiracy and two counts of aggravated assault.
