Three Ladyville men arrested for home break-in
In more police news, four days after a home break-in on the Northern Highway, cops have arrested three men from Ladyville. Authorities allege that sometime between seven a.m. and four p.m on Monday, twenty-year-old Levi Bahadur, nineteen-year-old Bruce Heron and seventeen year old Shane Bahadur, travelled to mile six and a half on the Northern Highway and stole an assortment of jewellery and household items belonging to teacher, Celia Usher. All three men have been charged with the crimes of burglary and handling stolen property.
Police have also detained three other men in connection with a burglary at St. John’s Primary School. Authorities report that sometime on Wednesday night, the suspects broke into the school and stole computer equipment totalling twenty thousand dollars. Police have since recovered the items. The three detainees are expected to be charged next week, at which time their identities will be made public.
