B.D.F.: Two M-16s missing

It has been the standard issue of the U.S. military since the Vietnam War…and in the ensuing years the M-16 has been adopted as the rifle of choice for scores of armies around the world, including Belize. Well tonight, two of those most lethal of weapons are in the wrong hands, as the Belize Defence Force has reported them stolen. The two guns were discovered to be missing around eighty-thirty last night by a duty officer making a check of the armoury. The police have begun an investigation and it is believed that the range of suspects is fairly narrow since only a small number of B.D.F. personnel have access to the storage facility.
