Kendis Gibson, ABC News Anchor
“I have come here and want to talk to you guys and try to get you guys to be able to say that I want to do great things in my life. A lot of people would say that your family had money and that is why you ended up leaving and go to the States; but we didn’t have money. Some of my brothers grew up in my family and they are not doing some of the things I am doing right now. It is not about money. It is more about mindset and you have to get in your mind what exactly you want to do as a career, as a goal and then figure out how to get there. What I used to do when I was younger was make mile marker that end of this year, I will do this and end of that year I am going to do this. So, that by the time you are fifteen what is your goal? By the time you are twenty or by the time you are twenty five. I still do it every year, I do 2017 and written down all goals and still look at it every once in a while. It is amazing how much you live up to those goals I encourage you to read a lot.”
