Minor Charged for San Pedro Murder

A seventeen-year-old has been charged for the murder of eighteen-year-old Christian Contreras in San Pedro. As we reported on Tuesday night, two persons were in police custody, including a minor. Today, the teenager was formally arrested and charged for the shooting that happened just before midday that left Contreras dead and twenty-eight-year-old Ryan Lucas hospitalized. The two men were sitting and talking in front of a bar in the Boca de Rio area when two men on bicycles approached them. One of the men took out a gun and fired eight shots – four of which hit Contreras who died on the spot. Police would not say what triggered the deadly shooting.
