Do you believe in magic?
A group of magicians are in the City for the weekend and they want to entertain you with some surprising acts of magic. The Rotary Club of Belize Sunrise is inviting families out to the show taking place all weekend long at the Bliss. Nicola Longsworth explains that the funds raised from this initiative will be going towards a worthy cause.

“Indeed it is a very exciting weekend here in Belize for families. The Rotary Club of Belize Sunrise – we have the international magicians from the intermagia. They are here in Belize to perform at the Bliss on Friday – tonight at 7; on Saturday at 2 and then Sunday at 3.”

“What kind of magic show – I believe they have been to Belize before?”
Nicola Longsworth
“Yes. This is the third year. However, it is 8 magicians. Three out of the eight are returning and they are coming with new shows; new everything. We have a large audience who has been coming out to our shows. We just want to clarify that everything is new; nothing repeated.”
Andrea Polanco
“Share with us a little about these magicians and what kind of magic tricks they put on?”
Nicola Longsworth
“Well, they do a wide variety; a lot of card tricks; they may invite one of our guests during the show to come up on stage. It is both for adults and children so both adults can relate as well as the kids.”
Andrea Polanco
“They are from where?”
Nicola Longsworth
“The magicians are from – all of them are Central American nationals – Honduras, Guatemala; Mexico.”

“Where can people get tickets?”
Nicola Longsworth
“Tickets are available at Bliss; Central Drug Store and from any of our club members. The fundraising events that we do right now is in aid of St. Johns Vianney Primary School. That is our five year flagship project and so everything we do at this moment is to assist projects we are working on at the school. So, because of that we ask families to come out, bring the kids. It is a really, really wonderful event.”
