Corozal man wins Lotto jackpot
There’s a new Lotto winner in town and tonight he’s going home with his cheque. This afternoon, sixty-nine year old Enrique Sosa of San Andres in the Corozal District showed up at the offices of Tropical Gaming Company to claim his prize money. Sosa says he’s a first time Lotto player and bought two quick pick tickets. The impulsive move netted Sosa the sixty-five thousand dollar jackpot, which after taxes, leaves him with fifty-five thousand two hundred and fifty dollars. The Corozaleño says he’ll use some of the money to fix up his house, but the rest will go into the bank.
