Crooked Tree inaugurates new library
It’s a long way from the cool carpeted confines of the law library in Belize City, but the latest addition to the nation’s educational infrastructure–opened this weekend in Crooked Tree–is no less important. On Sunday that historic village inaugurated a new library. The building is well stocked with a variety of books as well as computers with internet connections. Creation of the facility was made possible through the generosity of the Lions Club, U.S. Peace Corps and the Crooked Tree Community.
