The General Sales Tax Unit says Yhony Rosado owes over half a million dollars, but the firebrand FECTAB front man says not so! Today, Rosado and his colleagues, along with support from COLA, called a press conference to tell the public that he is being targeted by the powers that be and this time it through GST department. Rosado denies owing any taxes. He claims that two years ago, he was audited and was in good standing and four months ago he was audited again and now he has been slapped with a bill of six hundred thousand dollars. He said that he didn’t get a breakdown of the figures and has since consulted with lawyers. Rosado believe that he is being targeted through his tour guide business, cavetubing.com.

“GST audited me two years ago and didn’t find anything and then they audited me four months ago and now have given me the results of default of six hundred thousand dollars. As you know the GSU get rid of all the opposition of the criminals and the GST is trying to get rid of all the outspoken persons. This amount of default by GST on behalf of me, on behalf of my business, this dah fi mek yuh get wah gun and shoot yourself. This is a ridiculous number. I don’t even think I worth $600,000 dollars but the GST have audited me on default of six hundred thousand dollars. I don’t even see or know how six hundred thousand dollars look. I have been paying GST from ever since. My number for GST is very simple one two three four five five. I wanted to put one two three four five six, but they never accept me. So, I went to GST and choose my numbers so it was very easy to remember whenever I do business. So, I went to GST but this is not a default. This is a corruption. Because they could have found me in default from in the first year or the first, second month. If I miss GST right now, next month they would penalize me. But they audited me because I am talking too much. They audited me because I went on record and said this government is the worse government and I think I mention a couple bad words. And so this paper represents when you speak against your government they single you out; this is murder.”

“You can only go through a door when they open it for you. You can only go through this when they explain to you.”

“But isn’t it incumbent on you to go through that to see and verify the numbers.”

“Do you have all your documentation to show that you have paid all your GST?”

“Yes. Yes. I have everything. With the documents that I have that is the documents they used to find the six hundred thousand dollars default.”
