Dennis Nembhard fatally shot two blocks from home
The second murder occurred in Belize City sometime before eight last night when thirty-five year old Dennis Nembhard was shot in close proximity of his home located at the corner of Moya and Flamboyant Streets in the St. Martin De Porres area. It happened after a squabble between two twelve year old boys; one which is the nephew of the deceased. ‘Kalad’, as he is known to family and friends, was shot in front of a barracks on Oleander Street and despite his injuries managed to reach about one hundred yards away from his residence before collapsing. News Five spoke with Nembhard’s brother, Dean, who says Dennis died in his hands while being rushed to the K.H.M.H. The family believes that the homicide was an act of revenge. Dean told us what happened before the shooting.

So my nephews dehn jump inna di vehicle, I continue drive come down Croton Lane. When I come round dis lane yah again and corner ah Flamboyant deh, my bredda come rush up into me and seh dehn shot ah. So I seh shot yoh fi wat? How yoh mean dehn shot yoh?
