Western Union jacked of $20,000
An armed robbery in Belize City over the weekend has netted one thief a twenty thousand dollar booty. According to police, around six Saturday evening, a masked gunman walked into the offices of the Western Union at the corner of Mahogany Street and Central American Boulevard and demanded money. Employees handed over approximately twenty thousand, two hundred dollars, and the thief made his getaway. At news time tonight, no one had been charged with the crime.
