Another suspect charged in Cayo murder
Police have made one more arrest in the December fifth murder of an Orange Walk businessman in Camalote Village. Thirty-year old Timothy Vanegas was charged on Wednesday with the crimes of robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, murder and conspiracy to commit murder in the shooting death of Jacob Elias. Elias had reportedly travelled to Camalote to purchase some farm equipment when he was ambushed, robbed, and killed. Already charged, and remanded, are Alfredo Neal, Marvin Mejia and Leonides Vanegas.
