UB in P.G. Hit for Guns, Ammo
Two pistols and a trove of ammunition were stolen from the University of Belize Punta Gorda Campus. Police say that burglars broke into an office sometime between seven on Monday night and ten o’clock this morning. UB Administrator Roy Polonio reported that once the burglars gained entry to the building, they made their way into his office on campus where they stole a metal safe that contained two glock nine-millimeter pistols and as much as two hundred rounds of ammunition. Police investigation continues into this latest burglary.
