Mark Vasquez’s Accused Killer Still Under Guard, Not Charged
Charges, if any, are yet to be preferred on a suspect who is presently in police custody after being released from the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital earlier today. According to investigators, Osbaldo Nieto, matches the description of a man who was seen struggling with fifty-three-year-old Mark Vasquez near the Radisson pier on Saturday night. During the fight, the well-known auto trader was stabbed multiple times in the neck and chest. Nieto is described as a slim built, Hispanic male approximately five feet, five inches in height, with braided hair. Moments after rushing Vasquez to the hospital for emergency medical attention, Nieto was observed running along the sea wall on Marine Parade, his white t-shirt spattered with blood. He was also transported to the K.H.M.H. where he remained closely guarded. Results of Mark Vasquez’s autopsy are yet to be released; however, he suffered massive blood loss at the scene of the incident.
