Ride-by shooting leaves city man wounded
A Belize City man remains in stable condition in the K.H.M.H. after he was shot in the face early Saturday morning. Twenty-four year old Aston Wade told police that around two Saturday morning he was walking past the intersection of Dolphin and Gibnut Streets when a dark skinned man wearing a black warm cap rode by on a bicycle and shot him in the face. Wade said he got help from police officers whom he met as he ran near the Bel-China Bridge. Police have not yet apprehended any suspects in connection with the incident.
