1 drowns, 1 missing after dory capsizes in P.G.

One man is dead and another missing after a fishing trip off the coast of Toledo ended in disaster. Twenty-six year old Enfield Arzu of Punta Gorda reported to police that around 12:20 Saturday afternoon he and two friends, Carl Ramclam and Alfred Smith, went fishing east of town. Arzu says they decided to return home around 5:30 because it was getting dark, but then anchored about a mile off shore in search of one last strike. That fish proved fatal, however, as the dory capsized when Arzu tried to haul in a big one that had taken his line. Desperate to get help, Arzu said he swam towards the shore and was intercepted by two off-duty policemen who were out fishing as well. The officers sought help from their colleagues back at the station and headed back out to search. However, it was too late for Ramclam, a resident of Indianville, whose body was found floating at sea. The search continues for Smith.
