Will Anything Come of the Case of Missing Mark Pollard?

A friend of Pollard’s who is familiar with recent events has told News Five that along with the suspected family member, at least two other intimates of the missing man are suspected of involvement as well as a high-ranking police officer. In fact, our sources even claim to know the general location of Mark Pollard’s resting place off Fabers Road. But according to Espat, police have dragged their feet, making it difficult for the rest of Pollard’s family to obtain closure.

“At this point, I believe that the investigation into Mr. Mark Pollard’s disappearance, missing [persons] case, has abruptly come to an end because of mismanagement of behalf of the police in this case, and not only mismanagement, but I will say that there might be allegedly involvement and cover-up on behalf of the police. Because this person has high connections in the police department; this person gives donations to the police department, helps them with their community policing – and I will provide pictures to the media and I will put the pictures on Facebook because we are also live on Facebook. The purpose here is to awaken this nation, so that you all understand to what level this country has reached. This level is beyond what anyone will think of. As long as you have money, as you long as you help the police, or you give this money to ministers or you do this for ministers and you rub shoulders in high places, my fellow Belizeans, life means nothing.”

The younger Pollard says he is being supported by his other family members and is in hiding while the investigation meanders along.
