Judgment Day Approaches for Andrew Bennett

The hourglass that is Andrew Bennett’s freedom is quickly running out of sand, as it is expected that he will soon be arrested and brought before Chief Magistrate Sharon Frazer since all the paperwork has been completed for his court appearance.  The well-known attorney is wanted by the U.S. government for his alleged role in a money laundering scheme in which he agreed to legalize two hundred and fifty thousand U.S. dollars in so-called dirty money on behalf of a drug trafficking ring.  Bennett was indicted by a grand jury in Puerto Rico in 2015.  His arrest and extradition request marks the first time that an attorney is being sought by the United States for involvement in criminal activity.
