Fortis donates big bucks to Salvation Army

Believe or not, there is some good news to report tonight. On Friday, Fortis Incorporated, through Belize Electricity Limited, donated some four thousand dollars to the Salvation Army. According to the company, the work of the social programs of the Salvation Army deserved its corporate support and it is hoped that other companies will take Fortis’ lead in this endeavour. Over the holidays, the Salvation Army provided Christmas dinner and toys to over eleven hundred children and assisted twenty-six families with food hampers.
