Lord’s Bank Security Guard Surprised by Pre-Dawn Stabbing
Thirty-four-year-old Kenrick Valencia was attacked by an unknown assailant as he stood in front of the Novelo’s Bus Terminal this morning. The predawn assault resulted in the security guard being stabbed once to the abdomen. According to Belize City police, the Lord’s Bank resident remains in a critical but stable condition.

“This morning, about five a.m., police visited the K.H.M.H. and there they observed one Kenrick Valencia, a thirty-four-year-old security guard of Lord’s Bank. He had a single stab wound to the abdominal area. He’s in a critical but stable condition. Investigations have revealed that he was standing in front of the Novelo’s terminal on West Collet Canal and he was approached by a male individual who inflicted the injury to him. We have one person detained and police are continuing the investigation.”
