Father Charged with Incest against Daughter

A forty-seven-year-old man has been accused of violating his nearly thirteen-year-old daughter not once, not twice, but five separate times between February and August of 2016. The man is accused of incest and was remanded on his appearance before Chief Magistrate Sharon Frazer on Wednesday evening. No plea was taken and due to the nature of the crime, the lower court could not grant him bail. As a result he was remanded into custody at the Belize Central Prison until May fifteenth, 2018. This person has previously been accused of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a female minor a few years ago, but he was acquitted at the Supreme Court in a trial.
