Belize wins first medal in C.A./Caribbean Games
Belize has won its first medal in the Caribbean and Central American Games in El Salvador. This morning racquetball star Matthew Anderson defeated his Guatemalan opponent in a comeback victory fourteen-fifteen, fifteen-six, fifteen-two. This afternoon, however, he lost to a Mexican–who happens to be ranked sixth in the world–by a score of fifteen-five, fifteen-two. The performance was good enough for a bronze and what will hopefully be the first of a number of medals for Belize.
