Leopold Balderamos: dead at 82

And while we give thanks for the weather, we also offer our condolences on the death this afternoon of Leopold Balderamos. Balderamos, following a stint in the Royal Air Force during World War Two, entered the civil service where he eventually became the head of the Civil Aviation Department. He was active in the Scouts Association and the Ex-Services League. He was also chairman of the Board of the Sister Cecilia Home for the Elderly. The family asks that instead of flowers, any contributions be made to that facility. Leopold Balderamos is survived by his wife, Josephine and eight children. He was eighty-two years old.
