Many Suspects, No Arrests in Double Murder
The gunman who ended the lives of twelve-year-old David Morrison and twenty-six-year-old Lloyd Valentine in a deadly shooting on Wednesday evening in Pregnant Alley remains at large tonight. It has been several days since the tragic double homicide rocked the city and the police department is no closer to making an arrest. The standard-six student, who was attending Queen Street Baptist School, was cut down in a hail of bullets that was fired into a group of persons standing at the mouth of the alley. While Morrison was not the intended target, he lost his life in a senseless act of gun violence and investigators have been unsuccessful at apprehending a suspect.

“We have detained several persons. I know that the main suspect was detained, however, due to lack of evidence we had to release them. We are appealing to the persons, to the public who were there and saw what happened, if they can come and assist us. I know that there are persons that witnessed what happened and we are requesting their assistance for us to try to solve this double murder at Pregnant Alley.”
Also injured in the spray of bullets was twenty-three-year-old Albert Wagner who was shot once to the abdomen.
