Where have you gone, Godwin Hulse?

Minister Godwin Hulse has been pretty much silent in the past months. But last week the unassigned U.D.P. caretaker for the Fort George constituency was on the campaign trail with mayoral candidate for Belize City, Dion Leslie. Hulse, appealed to city voters to give the incumbent party another term in municipal government. Briceño took jabs at Hulse today saying that his credibility is short.

“Godwin Hulse, the same one that said he was going to fight corruption and now he is defending the corruption of his government; that has absolutely no credibility…that is walking the grounds of Belize City? I think he should hide because obviously he will not help the U.D.P. with getting any votes. Secondly I have been campaigning across the length and breadth of this country. I have been in every municipality; I have been deep in the south side of Belize City. And everywhere I go, people have been greeting us very warmly and positively and telling us that they want a change. They feel that they’ve been deceived by Barrow and Patrick Faber and the U.D.P. and that they have to have a change in this country.”
