Glenroy Clarke sentenced to 5years for Burglary
Also in court, Magistrate Dorothy Flowers handed down a five year sentence to thirty-three year old Glenroy Clarke. He is charged with breaking into the Mahogany Heights home of accountant Delmar Lanza, last November. Clarke reportedly pried open a burglar-barred window to enter the house and stole electronics, and silverware valued at almost four thousand dollars. Police later found Clarke in possession of a television and an amplifier belonging to Lanza. Today, Clarke pleaded guilty to Burglary and Damage to Property. He was also charged with Handling Stolen Goods, but that was withdrawn after his guilty plea to the other charges. Magistrate Flowers sentenced Clarke to five years for Burglary and six months for Damage to Property and stipulated that they are to run concurrently thus Clarke will serve five years only.
