B.N.T.U.’s Smith “Goes High” on John Saldivar
Minister of John Saldivar, took to social media on Tuesday and launched an attack on B.N.T.U. National President, Elena Smith following her comments against his appointment as Minister of National Security. Saldivar posted that Senator Smith is using her position to bully pulpit for her self-serving agenda. He also warned to be “careful of your glass window.” That did not sit well with Senator Smith who says that unlike Saldivar, the teachers are not laying down, but standing up to address the issue of crime.
Elena Smith, National President, B.N.T.U.
“If you look at Minister Saldivar and you look at me, who would be the bully? Me, not for sure. But I am not going to waste my time and dwell on anything that Minister Saldivar said because what he should be doing is what I am doing right now and what our teachers are doing right now. So they speak about laying down; we are standing up. We have always been standing up and we will continue to stand up. So anybody out there who has any sense of what is going on will see that that is just a personal attack to deflect from what we are doing today. And I am not going to follow him up. He can go low; we are going to go high, as high as we can go.”
