Cop and his brother charged in Ladyville assaults

Two brothers, one of them a police officer, have been arrested and charged for a series of violent crimes in Ladyville. Twenty-two year old cop Alden Martinez and his twenty-four year old brother, Adoinez Martinez, both of La Democracia, are accused of firing shots and stealing the bikes of two men on Saturday night on the Lord’s Bank road. They then allegedly assaulted a seventeen year old woman who was waiting at a bus stop on the Northern Highway, pointing a gun in her face and trying to drag her away. The Martinez brothers have been charged with discharging a firearm in public and aggravated assault.
