Man detained for rape of 15-year-old
In crime news a fifteen-year-old Belize City girl has reported that she was raped. The minor told police that around 6:00 Monday morning she was sleeping at home when she was woken up by a man she recognized as a friend of her step-father. He allegedly put a knife to her neck and forced her to have sexual intercourse. Police have detained one man while they continue to investigate the incident.
