Flowers charged with murder of 14-year-old

In other crime news, Edwin Flowers has been arrested and charged with murder in the death of Ashley Smith. Fourteen-year-old Smith was killed on Wednesday night as he and Flowers struggled over a screen door at a house on Vernon Street.
