Halftime Will Rock to Belizean Artists
Garth Guthrie has also been working tirelessly to ensure that tonight’s entertainment is technically sound. He has been busy tweaking and fine-tuning details such as sound and lighting. He speaks on what fans of both basketball and music can expect at the launch of the sporting complex.
Garth Guthrie, General Manager, Apex Events Services Belize
“Basketball which seems to be a big sport in Belize is now in an air-conditioned, fully contained building. Music-wise, we have halftime entertainment with TR Shine, Marilyn Vansen, Dian Songs, Cocono Bwai and Ernestine Carballo which I think is a great lineup for a halftime entertainment. The halftime entertainment which runs roughly about twenty minutes which is actually the time we have allotted for entertainment throughout all games. So it should be interested and we have a nice light show for you guys, just like how you see it in the foreign countries, it’s the same thing we’re going to try and duplicate here.”

“How challenging has it been to nail down all the bolts in terms of the technical aspect of tonight’s preparations?”
Garth Guthrie
“Alright, very good question. Nailing down things like this in Belize is kind of hectic because you don’t have everything readily available but you know what, we improvise on everything and we’re making it work and it will work perfect.”
