Owen McFoy Gunned Down in Hattieville

Shortly after nine p.m. on Tuesday, a succession of gunshots rang out in the Windmill neighborhood of Hattieville.  When the shooting subsided, Owen McFoy would lay mortally wounded inside a yard where he was socializing with relatives.  He was injured multiple times to the body during the attack.  Despite an attempt to rush him to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, McFoy passed away en route to Belize City.  According to a preliminary police investigation, the group was approached by a lone gunman who singled out McFoy as his target.  News Five attempted to speak with the grieving family earlier today; however, they respectfully declined comment.  We will have more on this murder in Thursday’s newscast.
